And the Best Juicers Are...
Which is the best juice extractor out there? Well, that all
depends on who you ask. Some swear by Champion
and say it's the best juicer to buy. Others prefer
Breville juice machines and say they're the
best. Then there are those who really like the Jack
Lalanne Juicer Elite.
So, of the "best juicers," which one is right for
you? It all depends on what you want in a
juicer. For an unbiased opinion of which are the best
juicers to buy and why, we took a look at Comsumer Review.com,
which gathers all the major reviews on the internet and picks a
“best of“ from those. No surprise that Breville was among those
chosen as best juicers to buy. Take a look at Breville and
others considered the "best juicers to buy."
Best Overall Juicer:
Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800JEXL
This particular Breville Juice Machine was chosen best
juicer overall because it is most efficient at squeezing the
most juice from fruits and vegetables (and the more juice, the
better). The Breville Juice Fountain Elite 800 JEXL is also
easy to clean, with dishwasher-safe parts. For all those who’ve
never owned a juice extractor before, easy cleanup is a big
deal. This Breville Juice Machine also has an extra-wide
feeding tube, so you don’t have to chop your vegetables and
fruit into small bits. Also a big deal.
The Breville Juice Fountain Elite is truly an oustanding
juicer. Of course, an outstanding juicer also comes with a
large price tag. The Juice Fountain Elite will set you back
about $300.
Best Juicer on the Budget:
Breville BJE200XL Juice Fountain Compact
Another Breville, the Juice Fountain Compact costs around
$80 and is similar to the more expensive Juice Fountain Elite
in that it too has a 3-inch wide chute, which means less
chopping of your fruits and vegetables. The cost savings
is due to a less-powerful motor and plastic housing. The
juicer is still dishwasher-safe, and receives high marks from
its users. For those of you wanting a Breville with an
inexpensive price tag, this one would be it..
Best Juicer - Most Efficient:
Acme Supreme Juicerator 5001
For those of you who don’t mind more cleanup, your choice
might be the Acme Supreme Juicerator 5001. The Acme Supreme
Juicerator 5001 has been chosen best juicer in terms of
efficiency. It’s more difficult to clean because it doesn’t
automatically eject the leftover pulp. However, keeping the
leftover pulp longer squeezes more juice, which can save you
money if you do a lot of juicing.
Best Masticating Juicer:
Omega 8005
A masticating juicer is a juice extractor which crushes
produce to a pulp, then squeezes out the juice. And the Omega
8005 has been rated the best masticating juice machine. And
what a versatile juicer! This baby can perform tasks that
centrifugal juicers can’t: it can make pasta, baby food, and
juice wheatgrass. The Omega 8005 juicing machine can grind,
juice, homogenize and make pasta!
Best Citrus Juicer:
Black & Decker CJ525 Citrus Mate PlusTo many
people, juice means citrus juice. They don't want the
fancy juicer which can juice wheatgrass and other things they
won't drink. They want citrus juice period. For
them there's the Black & Decker CJ525 Citrus Mate Plus,
which comes with an adjustable pulp control and 1-liter
pitcher. If you want to juice other vegetables, however,
you will have to buy another juice extractor, as this juicer is
made for citrus only. The good news is it will only cost
you about $20.
Previous Year's Winners:
In previous years other juicers have been recognized as
winners in their class. Here are a couple of note.
Best Twin-Gear Juicer:
Green Star 3000:
Twin-gear juicers use low RPMs and work great on
hard-to-juice foods, like wheatgrass and spinach. Like the
Omega 8005, the Green Star 3000 is also a very versatile
juicer, with the ability to make pasta and baby food.
What makes the Green Star 3000 a "best juicer?" The Green
Star 3000 uses magnetic and bioceramic technologies allowing
the juice to be stored longer, without losing health building
benefits. The magnets help in extracting more minerals from any
produce that you juice.
Best Budget Juicer:
L’Equip 110.5 Mini Pulp Ejector Juicer
Around $100, the L’Equip 110.5 Mini Pulp Ejector Juicer has
in the past been rated as being the best budget juicer. This
juicer uses centrifugal force, ejecting the pulp into a basket
for emptying. It does have a smaller feeding tube than the
Breville, so you have to chop the vegetables into small
pieces.
Synonyms: juicier, jiucer, juier, juiser, juacer, juicre,
uicer, jicer, juier, juicr, jjuicer, juuicer, juiicer, juiccer,
juiceer and juicerr are typos for the word "juicer.".
